Requirements for the 2nd Working Holiday Visa The same as when applying for your 1st Working Holiday Visa you have to meet the following requirements when applying for the Second Year Visa. You must also have completed three months or 88 days of specified work in regional Australia while on your first Working Holiday visa. Recent changes to the working holiday visa program mean that anyone in their second year of a Working Holiday visa can apply for a 12-month extension if they complete an extra six months of specified work in regional areas of Australia.
