Is Exmouth Worth Visiting
. While it is not on the countrys main tourist trail it is a hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit. Exmouth is on the South east coast of Devon where the river Exe meets the sea.I was a bit disappointed tbh because Exmouth is not on the coast and theres nothing to do in town plus the military base on the North of the cape is really ugly. I only have a short month and a half so I already had to cut out Darwin Kakadu and Uluru mostly because the last one was too expensive. If its just for the beaches then no its not worth the detour.
Its great to visit all year round the weather in Exmouth was great when we visited.

Exmouth is on the Jurassic Coast which is a World Heritage Site because of its unique fossil-rich rocks and distinctive orange cliffs. And with daily flights direct from Perth its surprisingly accessible although if you enjoy road trips the scenic 12hr drive from Perth is definitely worth the trip.
