Northern Territory Permanent Residency
. 14 January 2019. If you are already in Australia you can apply for permanent residency after six months of living in the Northern Territory and working full time in a nominated or closely related skilled occupation.

From cooks to family day care workers to motor mechanics low skilled migrants will now be able to apply for Australias permanent residency. The Northern Territory Skilled Nomination Program gives you the opportunity to gain state nomination and if successful to apply for permanent residency under the Skilled Nomination visa subclass 190 category. Eligible employees will be able to apply for permanent residence through the Employer Nomination Scheme ENS subclass 186 visa.
