If you have an approved exemption to travel and have been in New Zealand in the past 14 days and arrive in the Northern Territory after 500pm on 18 August 2021 you must undertake 14 days of mandatory supervised quarantine at the Alice Springs or Howard Springs quarantine facilities. Enter or visit an Aboriginal Community. If you travel on any domestic connections after you have completed your 14-day mandatory quarantine period you must present for day 17 and day 21 testing in the jurisdiction you have travelled to.
You can apply for a transit permit through the Northern Land Council Permit Administration System.
From 1159pm 23 August Northern Territory red zones in the Greater Darwin and Katherine Local Government Areas are orange zones under Victorias travel permit system.
