Road Trip Brisbane To Uluru
. The idea would be to start in Melbourne drive all the way to Darwin with a few days stop in Alice SpringUluru and then head east towards the Whitesundays and then South to Sydney. My family and I took our road trip to Uluru over several weeks stopping at all of the outback towns to learn and get a real sense of life in Central Australia.
The plan is to rent a car in a group of 4 and depart from Sydney on the 1st of January 2018 for a 14 days trip heading to Uluru and back driving through Canberra Melbourne and Great Ocean road and then back to Sydney potentially if there is enough time going on the way back through Brisbane. From Brisbane you would head through Toowoomba to Roma Blackall Barcaldine Longreach WintonMt. This route is a journey of 3461 km 2150 mi and 36 hours driving time as per the below map. Its three days driving from about Tennant Creek to Brisbane via Mt Isa.
