Bowen to Townsville. Its about 2 hours drive from Cairns and then almost 3 again on to Townsville. Your first stop is Behana Gorge located in Gordonvale a 30 minute drive out of Cairns City. Drive south until Gordonvale then drive up the Gillies Highway that has spectacular views across the Goldsborough Valley.
